Value Added Services
For many applications, Advanced Cast Products can complete the entire production process in house, as required - casting, machining, austempering, shot peening, protective coating, and assembling. This all adds up to tighter quality control, lowered costs, and shorter lead times.
Examples of ACP's value added processes:
Transmission shifter fork
This assembly starts with a ductile iron casting made by our state-of-the-art Disamatic molding center. The fork is then machined and assembled in house. Machine fixture techniques are applied to achieve critical tolerances.
Truck door hinge assembly
This 12 piece assembly starts with two machined ductile iron castings and includes a composite insert sleeve, forged bolt, spring, roller, locking nut, copper holder and various screws and washers.
Custom-coated parts
ACP can provide powder coating, e-coating, zinc dichromate coating, cadmium coatings, galvanizing and primer coat painting.
